There will be good weather conditions for mountain hiking until noon on Thursday, the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross said on Thursday morning. Storms are expected in the afternoon, they warned.

Thursday morning has broken cloud and temperatures ranging from 11C to 17C.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology forecasts thundery showers in Western Bulgaria and the Central Balkan Range, with possible hailstorms.
