The Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) with the Bulgarian Red Cross said good mountain hiking conditions are expected on Tuesday. The weather stays sunny and clear, yet some areas may see a downturn, so hikers are advised to check forecasts before setting out.

MRS added that no distress calls have been registered in the past 24 hours.

Predominantly sunny skies are expected in the mountains before noon, followed by towering clouds and short showers with thunderstorms in many areas. The chance of heavy local rain and hail will increase over the western and central mountains. A moderate west-southwest wind is expected, with temperatures around 18°C at 1,200 m and 12°C at 2,000 m.
