site.btaVice President Iotova to Mark Day of Valour with Bulgarian KFOR Troops

Vice President Iliana Iotova will take part in a ceremony marking the Day of Valour and the Bulgarian Armed Forces Day with the Bulgarian military contingent of NATO’s Kosovo Force (KFOR), the President's press secretariat said on Tuesday.

Iotova will be welcomed by KFOR Commander Major General Enrico Barduani. Deputy Commander Brigadier General Cahit Irican and the national commander of the Bulgarian contingent, Lieutenant Colonel Hristo Vasilev, will also attend the reception.

Iotova is expected to review the formation, followed by the playing of the national anthems. Afterwards, she will address the Bulgarian service members. Barduani is also scheduled to speak.

Iotova will view an exhibition of weapons, equipment and vehicles at KFOR’s Film City base in Pristina.

She will then travel to Montenegro on a visit that will continue until May 8.
