Bulgaria triumphed in the Individual Juniors team competition at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup in Baku (Azerbaijan). The country is represented by Magdalena Valkova, Alexa Rasheva and Antoaneta Tsankova.
The gymnasts made a strong and confident performance and earned 97.750 points (25.450 on hoop, 24.450 on ball, 24.900 on clubs and 22.950 ribbon) to win the gold. The silver medal went to the Italian team with 97.250, and in third place went to Israel with 96.800.
Thus, Bulgarians now have four medals (two gold and two bronze) from the competition after the title in the all-around of the Junior Group, the bronze of Dara Malinova on clubs for Senior Individuals, and the third place in the Senior Groups competition on five ribbons.
The judge for Bulgaria in this competition was Rada Vrazheva, who was on the panel for difficulty with the ball and ribbon apparatus on Saturday.
