Ludogorets Draws 3-3 with PAOK in Europa League Clash

Bulgarian football league champion Ludogorets Razgrad and Greece’s PAOK played out a 3–3 draw in Matchday 6 of the League Phase of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League on Thursday.

Ludogorets opened the scoring in the 33rd minute through Petar Stanic, who netted his sixth goal in six Europa League matches.

PAOK equalized six minutes later thanks to former Ludogorets forward Kiril Despodov, who scored his first Europa League goal of the season. He also provided the assist for PAOK’s second goal, completing the turnaround three minutes into the second half.

In the 70th minute, Olivier Verdon levelled the score at 2–2. Ludogorets then reclaimed the lead seven minutes later when Ivaylo Chochev scored his 15th goal of the season in all competitions. However, Ludogorets were unable to hold on to the victory, as PAOK's Anestis Mythou took advantage of a defensive error by the hosts in the 90th minute to make it 3–3.
