site.btaBNB Governor Takes Part in 95th Annual General Meeting of Bank for International Settlements

Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Governor Dimitar Radev participated in the 95th Annual General Meeting of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), held in Basel, Switzerland, June 29, the BNB reported on Monday. The meeting was attended by the governors of the BIS shareholding central banks.

During the meeting, the shareholders approved the BIS Annual Report, the audited annual financial statements and the allocation of the Bank’s net profit. In this regard, a decision for allocation of a dividend for the 2024/2025 financial year of 380 Special Drawing Rights (SDR) per share was taken.

Based on the 8,000 shares held, the Bulgarian National Bank will receive a dividend of SDR 3,040,000. At the current exchange rate, this amounts to approximately BGN 7.45 million.

The BNB has been a shareholder in the Bank for International Settlements since its foundation in 1930.
