site.btaRegulator to Discuss Natgas Price for June

The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday to discuss the proposed price of natural gas for June, which state-owned distributor Bulgargaz would charge end-suppliers and heating companies, according to the agenda published on the EWRC website.
Bulgargaz has proposed a June price of BGN 64.32/MWh, excluding access, transmission, excise duties, and VAT. The EWRC approved the price for May at BGN 64.40/MWh.
In its report to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, Bulgargaz said it will meet domestic demand for natural gas in June using a mix of three main sources: contracted supplies from an Azerbaijani company, liquefied natural gas delivered via Turkiye, and gas from the Chiren underground gas storage facility.
