The total revenues from overnight stays in accommodation establishments in March 2025 increased by 13.6%, compared to the same month of the previous year, and reached BGN 106.2 million, the National Statistical Institute reported on Tuesday.

The number of overnight stays was 1.1231 million, a 4.5% increase year-on-year. The number of arrivals increased by 6.3% compared to the same month in 2024 and reached 528,500. According to instructions from Eurostat, refugees from Ukraine were not included in this survey.

In March 2025, 2,279 accommodation establishments (hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation, with 10 or more bed-places, functioned in the country. Their total capacity was 66,300 rooms with 138,100 beds.
