site.btaBulgaria with EU's Highest Annual Increase in Industrial Producer Prices in October

In October 2025 compared with September 2025, industrial producer prices increased by 0.1% in both the euro area and the EU, according to first estimates from Eurostat published on Wednesday. Year on year, industrial producer prices decreased by 0.5% in the euro area and by 0.2% in the  EU. Among Member States, Bulgaria registered the highest increase compared to both September 2025 and October of last year, 4.6% and 17.6%, respectively.

After Bulgaria's, the highest month-on-month increases in industrial producer prices were recorded in Ireland (+1.4%) and Estonia (+1.3%). The most significant decrease was registered in Slovakia (-1%). 

The most significant year-on-year increases after Bulgaria's were registered in Romania (+9.4%) and Sweden (+4.9%). The biggest drop in industrial producer prices occurred in Luxembourg (-5.6%).
