site.btaLutenitsa Festival, Picnic Artistic Festival to be Held in Blagoevgrad Villages on Saturday

Two villages in Blagoevgrad Municipality (Southwestern Bulgaria) will host festivals on Saturday, the municipal press centre said on Thursday.

The village of Logodazh will host the Lutenitsa Festival, which preserves and presents the tastes and traditions of the Pirin region. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the preparation of homemade lutenitsa according to authentic recipes, to try culinary delights and to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Bulgarian folklore.

The Picnic Artistic Festival will be held in the village of Gabrovo. The festival unites Bulgarian and French traditions, with visitors being able to experience the wealth of art, music and cuisine. The goal is for the initiative to be sustainable and to be held in different settlements of the municipality, as well as to involve more people who will present local works and share experience and skills, Blagoevgrad Municipality noted.

At the end of June, the first Picnic Artistic Festival took place in the Blagoevgrad village of Riltsi.
