site.btaBulgaria Commends and Supports US President's Efforts to Achieve Peace in Ukraine, PM Says

Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov expressed his support for the US plan to end the war in Ukraine. "We commend and support the US President Donald Trump efforts to achieve just, lasting and sustainable peace in Ukraine," he wrote on X on Saturday. 

Washington's 28-point plan calls on Ukraine to cede territory, accept limits on its military and renounce ambitions to join NATO. It also contains some proposals Moscow may object to and requires its forces to pull back from some areas they have captured, according to a draft seen by Reuters.

US President Donald Trump told Fox News Radio on Friday he believed Thursday was an appropriate deadline for Kyiv to accept the plan.
