Vazrazhdane MP Stoyan Taslakov said Friday that the parliamentary group did not have any remarks about the work of the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) during the discussion of the report on the activities of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency (BTA), including the financial report for 2024.
“The press clubs in the country are well equipped, they have good professionals working in them and my experience shows that they have always been impartial, not politically oriented, they have welcomed us with professionalism and have helped us and the citizens,” he said.
In his words, the role of press clubs is important at regional level because in small regions there are not many media outlets and this is the only way for people to reach the information flow and the important issues affecting society. Taslakov expressed his good impression of the professional equipment in the press club in Bosilegrad: "For the Bulgarian communities abroad the connection with Bulgaria is extremely valuable and this is an example of how BTA helps its development."
The BTA regularly organises trainings and seminars at international level, Taslakov added. "We will support the report and wish the BTA to continue working as hard and professionally," he said.
