The 14th edition of A to JazZ festival will take place from July 3 to 6 at South Park 2, the festival organizers announced.

The program includes 12 international bands from this year's World Music Showcase selection and three festival nights. Headlining the big stage this year are soul-funk sensation Kennedy Administration, virtuoso trumpeter and Grammy winner Keyon Harrold, and French-Caribbean neo-soul star Adi Oasis.

Taking to the big stage on July 4 is Kennedy Administration, a New York band known for their energetic, stylistically colorful sound that blends soul, funk, jazz and pop, whose vocalist has been compared to Chaka Kahn and Whitney Houston, and whose pianist and producer Ondre J is behind the keys.

The following day, Keyon Harrold - one of the most outstanding jazz trumpeters of our time - takes centre stage. A Grammy winner, he is known for his work with Jay Z, Beyonce, Erykah Badu, Gregory Porter, and wrote the music for the Miles Davis biopic Miles Ahead. Recognized as one of the most innovative artists in contemporary jazz, he has created a unique sound in which jazz meets hip-hop, funk, rock and socially engaged messages.

Adi Oasis, singer, bassist and producer, closes the festival. She was born in France, has Caribbean roots, and is based in New York.

The international line-up also includes the trio Emile Londonien from France, Roseye from the Netherlands - with Jet Vesper and Gilipojazz from Spain - two projects that are the result of a partnership between A to JazZ and MadCool Festival, as well as The Spanish Wave, a platform aimed at introducing new voices on the Spanish scene to an international audience.

The programme traditionally presents artists from Bulgaria with their latest productions. Among them are the young musicians from Uke Duo, who will present their debut album "See" in bossa nova style, the guitarist Angel Demirev, known for his characteristic sound inspired by fusion, funk and ethno, and the talented trombonist Ivan Melin with his quintet and debut album The Beginning of Authenticity, the jazz formation Zone C with their new album Quantum Integrity, featuring previously unreleased compositions by the band's late founder Vasil Parmakov, and the rising young trumpeter Alex Vitkov - VI: Tkov, who debuted with Once Upon a Jazz.
