site.btaGolden Feather Awards to Honour Artists for Outstanding Contribution to Bulgarian Culture for 30th Time

For the 30th time, the Golden Feather Awards will honour outstanding artists for their contributions to Bulgarian culture. The Bulgarian News Agency’s LIK magazine is among the laureates, organizers Cantus Firmus and the Makta Gallery said. The awards were established to highlight the importance of spiritual values during Bulgaria’s challenging transition to democracy, the organizers added. 

This year, 23 laureates have been named, including painter Emil Stoychev, actor Marius Donkin, poet Matey Stoyanov, and musician Stefan Valdobrev.

The award ceremony will take place at the City Mark Art Centre in Sofia on May 23.
