Romanian Royal Camerata and Royal Choir to Perform in Balchik Palace

Romanian Royal Camerata and Royal Choir will perform a concert under the baton of maestro Razvan Apetrei in the Stone Hall of the Balchik Palace in Balchik at 5.30 p.m. on May 27. The event is organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute in partnership with the Embassy of Romania in Sofia and the Balchik Palace Cultural Centre. The concert is free for all visitors.

The programme includes works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonio Vivaldi, Bela Bartok, Eduard Hubsch, Peter Liondev, Thomas Morley, Simeon Niculescu, Gheorghe Danga. The Black Sea Sounds choir will perform traditional Bulgarian folklore music. The Maria Inima Romaniei [Marie – Heart Of Romania] documentary, directed by Trevor Poots, will also be screened as part of the programme.

Opening addresses will deliver Romanian Ambassador Brandusa Predescu, Balchik Palace Director Zheni Mihaylova, and Liviu Jicman, President of the Romanian Cultural Institute.
