site.btaHousehold Deposits Rise by 19.8% in December Y/Y
Household deposits in Bulgarian commercial banks rose by 19.8% year on year to a total of BGN 107.076 billion at the end of December 2025, show data released by the Bulgarian National Bank on Tuesday. Household deposits increased by around BGN 17.7 billion over the past 12 months. By comparison, at the end of 2024 household deposits stood at BGN 89.4 billion.
In December 2025 alone, household deposits grew by approximately BGN 6.2 billion, as they amounted to BGN 100.8 billion at the end of November last year.
