The Trace exhibition, featuring graphic art by students and lecturers from the National Academy of Art (NAA), the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Katowice, Poland and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Italy, will take place at the NAA - Academy Gallery from February 4 to 23, the exhibition team announced. The exhibition showcases the various aspects of contemporary graphic art, including the current trends, techniques, creative concepts and experimental approaches developed by students and teachers at the three art academies.
It is the second stage of the international "Graphics Without Borders" project, an initiative that uses art to create intercultural dialogue and expand opportunities for creative interaction between students and teachers. The first part of the project showcased the work of students and faculty members from the NAA in Katowice in October 2025, at the invitation of Prof. Marcin Bialas, a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Katowice, as well as one of Europe's leading contemporary graphic artists. A printed catalogue will be published to archive the project. After Sofia, the exhibition will be presented in Milan.
