site.btaBTA, Philip Koutev Ensemble Sign Cooperation Agreement

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) and the Philip Koutev State Folklore Ensemble signed a partnership agreement here on Monday. BTA also made available the LIK typeface to the Ensemble.

"We are launching a new partnership of BTA and the marking of a remarkable anniversary," said BTA Director General Kiril Valchev. "The State Folk Song and Dance Ensemble, which is now named after Philip Koutev, was set up by a Council of Ministers decree on January 7, 1950."

"We are very happy and grateful that this cooperation has finally taken effect," said the Ensemble's Director Georgi Andreev. "I am sure that this will usher in a very beneficial joint cooperation and moreover in the year in which the State Folklore Ensemble celebrates its 75th birthday," he added.
