The Angel Views charity campaign raised BGN 28,000 to buy defibrillators for schools across Bulgaria, actor Naum Shopov Jr said on Sunday. Shopov, speaking on his YouTube channel, thanked everyone who took part.

“This year, through the Angel Views charity campaign, with your support we raised BGN 28,000, which we donated to Caps for the Future to help fund the purchase and donation of cardiac defibrillators for schools in Bulgaria,” Shopov said.

The Angel Views initiative has been running since 2021 and sells photographic prints. In the fifth edition of the campaign, Shopov and his fiancée, Tea Minkova, showcased works by 12 photographers: Teodora Grancharova, Radoslav Sviretsov, Mihail Minkov, Lubomir Asenov, Ivan Shishiev, Ivan Dinkov, Edward Venev, Dobromir Raynov, David Mirov, Antonio Sharaliev, Anton Enchev, and Anton Dangov. The exhibition was on view for one day only at ONE Gallery in Sofia and online on the Angel Views website.

Shopov trained as a physician and, after graduating, worked at the Burns and Plastic Surgery Clinic at the Pirogov Emergency Hospital. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Dr Boris Tasev in the Nova TV series Stolen Life and as the host of the bTV format Ergenat [The Bachelor]. He and Minkova run a YouTube channel and maintain Facebook and Instagram profiles where they share moments from their daily lives. In 2024, Shopov took the lead role in the film Without Wings, portraying Paralympic champion Martin Hristov.
