The Fourteenth Macedonian Literary Visit to Sofia will take place between May 11 and 13. For the first two days the Skopje based publishing house Makavej, in cooperation with the Cultural Information Centre of the Republic of North Macedonia in Sofia, have prepared a rich cultural programme featuring many authors. Macedonian writers, led by the President of the Macedonian Writers' Association, will meet their Bulgarian counterparts, led by the President of the Union of Bulgarian Writers, and will network, exchange experiences and share their work with the audience at the Cultural Information Centre of North Macedonia in Sofia.

The program concept of the Fourteenth Macedonian Literary Visit to Sofia will include: Literary portrait of Vladimir Martinovski, presentation of the traditional Macedonian Literary Daedalus Award to a prominent Bulgarian writer and translator who has contributed to the promotion of Macedonian literature in Bulgaria, Tribute to Lyubomir Levchev - winner of the Golden Wreath Award at the Struga Poetry Evenings, Joint evening of Macedonian and Bulgarian poetry, with the participation of the most prominent names on the poetic scene from both countries (participate: Angela Dimcheva, Branko Cvetkoski, Dimitar Milov, Dimitar Bashevski, Nikolay Shopov, Vladimir Martinovski, Roza Boyanova, Dimitar Hristov, Kristina Nikolovska, Ivan Esenski, Violeta Tancheva - Zlateva, Atanas Zvezdinov, Zoran Jakimovski, Maya Panayotova, Petar Andasarov, Jovitsa Tasevski - Eternijan, Nadia Popova, Lidija Razmoska Trimovska, Vladimir Levchev, and Atanas Kapralov). The third day is scheduled for a visit to the Hristo Smirnenski House Museum in Sofia.

Over the past thirteen years, Makavej and the Cultural Information Centre of North Macedonia in Sofia have successfully hosted editions of the Macedonian Literary Visit, in which some eighty Macedonian poets, scholars, writers and publicists have participated, as well as a number of well-known Bulgarian writers, essayists, translators and publicists.
