site.btaVivacom to Compensate Customers Affected by the State of Emergency Following the October 3 Floods

Telecom operator Vivacom said that it will compensate individual customers whose services were disrupted due to the state of emergency in some of the areas most severely affected by the October 3 floods — including Tsarevo, Trun, Nessebar, Georgi Damyanovo, Berkovitsa, Varshets, Chuprene, Breznik, Zemen, and Ardino.
The compensations will take effect in November and will cover Vivacom’s television, internet, and fixed voice services. Customers in the affected areas will receive compensation equivalent to three monthly subscription fees, including charges for additional devices and service packages. The compensation will be activated after a technician visit to verify and repair the damage.
Vivacom added that it continues to monitor the situation and provide technical assistance to all customers whose services were disrupted by the disaster. The company’s teams remain on the ground, working continuously to restore services as quickly as possible.
