Albanian Parliament Speaker Elisa Spiropali arrived on a two-day official visit to Bulgaria on Wednesday at the invitation of National Assembly Chair Nataliya Kiselova, the legislature in Sofia reported in a press release. Spiropali was welcomed at Sofia Airport by MP Hristo Terziiski, who chairs the Bulgaria-Albania Friendship Group in the National Assembly.
On Thursday morning, the guest will lay a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in downtown Sofia. Later, she and Kiselova will hold a meeting. Spiropali is expected to sign the legislature’s official guests book.
Spiropali and Kiselova will give media statements at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday.
In the afternoon, the two leaders will join a Paneuropa forum at the Central Military Club, where Spiropali will deliver a speech.
During her visit, the Albanian Parliament Speaker will hold separate meetings with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov.
