site.btaMECh to Join Debate on No-Confidence Motion as Its Topic of Fiscal Policy Failure Is Justified, Says Leader

The Morality, Union, Honour (MECh) parliamentary group will take part in the debate on the no-confidence vote in the Government, because its topic of "failure in fiscal policy" is justified, MECh leader Radostin Vasilev told journalists on Wednesday. "This vote is an initiative of Vazrazhdane which we will support because we have promised so," he said.
"Whether the vote will pass or will not pass - I think that after the statements we have heard in recent days, both from [GERB leader Boyko] Borissov and the pleas to [MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan] Peevski for support, and the fact that Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (CC-DB), despite the fact that they are falling apart corruptly, will support this Government for reasons unknown to us, the vote will probably not pass, but the voices of this vote must be heard," Vasilev said.
"I hope after this dream of CC-DB, GERB and MRF - New Beginning for the eurozone, there will be some conscience in some of the parties to support further votes of no confidence," he said. Vasilev thinks that the motion MECh will table, probably in mid-July, over Interior Minister Daniel Mitov and domestic policy, has a chance to pass then.
According to Vasilev, the debate on Vazrazhdane's co-confidence motion will aim to reveal what is going on in the fiscal policy. "Apart from the lies related to the revenue part, falsely set in the state budget, apart from the deficit, which in the first five months is nearly BGN 3 billion, the scarier thing is that there is a government at the moment supported by parties that no longer have the support of the people outside," Vasilev argued. He specified he was referring to There Is Such a People and BSP - United Bulgaria.
