The Bulgarian National Radio (BNR), the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) and the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) are the basis of reliable information, especially in this world of hybrid wars, of absolute disinformation that can overwhelm a person at any moment, said Culture Minister Marian Bachev on Friday on the air of BNR regarding the demands of public media workers for an increase in their salaries.

“Whatever depends on me and on us as an institution, we will support such a request,” he noted, adding money could be found. "Let's just see how the budget implementation goes towards the middle of the year, because you know how late the budget was adopted," Bachev explained.

Bachev commented on the dismissal of the director of the National Institute for Immovable Cultural Heritage, architect Petar Petrov. “He failed to state in his declaration of conflict of interest that his wife has actually had a company for many years with the same profile of activity as he has at the Ministry of Culture,” he pointed out.

Marian Bachev also said that he has almost formed his team. “I expect the third deputy minister to be available from Monday,” he said.
