Starting April 1, heavy-duty trucks will be allowed to enter Serbia only if they are equipped with mandatory TAG devices, the Bulgarian embassy in Belgrade told Bulgarian News Agency (BTA).

Bulgarian transport operators carrying out activities on Serbian territory are advised to obtain the required device in a timely manner, the embassy said.

According to Serbian classification, Category IV heavy vehicles include those over 3.5 tonnes, vehicles with four or more axles, as well as trucks with trailers.

The public company Roads of Serbia also announced on its website that, as of April 1, 2026, toll collection for Category IV vehicles will be carried out exclusively via TAG devices. This electronic toll system allows for prepaid tolling and eliminates waiting at toll booths, particularly along the Belgrade Ring Road.

Registration of TAG devices on the Toll4All platform is mandatory.
