BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Georgi Georgiev is the top-of-the-list candidate of Blue Bulgaria for Lovech’s 11th multi-member constituency, according to a decision of the Constituency Election Commission.

Georgiev was born in 1978 in Lovech, according to the biography sent by the candidate. He completed his secondary education at the School of Mathematics in Lovech with a profile in mathematics and informatics. He completed higher education in 2002 at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, earning a master’s degree in Law with a specialisation in Administration of Justice.

In 2003 he obtained legal capacity and since then has been a lawyer with the Lovech Bar Association. For more than ten years he has been elected to the governing bodies of the Lovech Bar Association. He has served two terms as a member of the Bar Council of the Lovech Bar Association, and in the second term was secretary of the Bar Council. He is currently serving a second term as a member of the Control Board of the Lovech Bar Association.

He is a member of the public councils of various educational establishments in Lovech. He currently chairs the Public Council of the Profiled School of Mathematics in Lovech. He is married and has two children, a university student and a schoolgirl.
