Ten voting sections will be opened in Moldova for the Bulgarian parliamentary elections on April 19 by a decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC), adopted on March 28. Two of the sections will be located at Bulgaria's diplomatic missions in Chisinau and Taraclia, while the remaining eight will be established in towns and villages with compact Bulgarian communities.

Voting sections will be set up in the following locations:

Chisinau: Embassy of Bulgaria, 92 Bucharest St.
Taraclia: Consulate of Bulgaria, 143/2 Lenin St.
Varnita: 60 Tighina St. (in the Youth Cultural Centre building)
Vulcanesti: 5 Frunze St.
Cairaclia: 46 Lenin St. (in the House of Culture building)
Cahul: 7/D Stefan cel Mare St. (in the Elvis Prim travel agency building)
Comrat: 196 Lenin St. (in the House of Culture building)
Corten: 13 Kirov St. (in the House of Culture building)
Tvardita: 4 Dimitrov St.
Ceadir-Lunga: 89 Lenin St. (in the House of Culture building)

All Bulgarian citizens aged 18 or over who hold a valid identity document are entitled to vote.

On March 28, the CEC said it had decided to open 493 voting sections in 55 countries for the parliamentary elections. The CEC also reported that 60,904 applications had been submitted for voting abroad in 67 countries.  Legal restrictions limiting the number of voting sections outside diplomatic and consular missions in non-EU countries to 20 affect the United Kingdom, the United States and Turkiye.

The Foreign Ministry has also confirmed that no voting sections will be opened in several Middle East countries, including Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, due to security risks.

Additionally, the CEC decided not to open voting sections in countries, including Ethiopia, Iraq, Lebanon, Nigeria, Syria, Palestine, North Korea, Pakistan, India, Iran, Mongolia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and the Vatican, citing feasibility concerns.
