The caretaker Prime Minister has decided to convene the Security Council later on Saturday, caretaker Defence Minister Atanas Zapryanov told bTV in response to a question about the situation following reports of an Israeli attack against Iran.

The Council of Ministers press centre also confirmed the information. The Security Council meeting will be held at 1 p.m.

The permanent members of the council and the security services will be notified and will present their assessments.

“We will present our assessments. Nothing that is happening creates consequences for our armed forces. We will not change the operating regime of our armed forces because we are not a party to this operation,” Zapryanov said.
