The 2025-2026 season of the Bulgarian Concert Evenings in New York ended with an event at the Consulate General of Bulgaria in the city, the Bulgarian diplomatic mission said on its Facebook page on Thursday.

Performing for the audience was Salix Piano Trio: Anna Stoytcheva, Joanna Maurer and Alberto Parrini.

After the concert, guests watched the premiere of a documentary by Christo Bakalov dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the cultural initiative, which has become emblematic for the Bulgarian community in New York.

Consul General Angel Angelov welcomed the guests and highlighted key moments in the history of cooperation between the Consulate General and the Bulgarian Concert Evenings in New York initiative.

Bulgarian Concert Evenings in New York present classical and contemporary chamber music performed by Bulgarian and international artists. Since the initiative was established in the autumn of 2005, the concerts have been organized with the help of volunteer musicians from Bulgaria, and most of them are free of charge.
