The Council of Ministers adopted a decision appointing Rumen Spetsov as special commercial administrator of Lukoil's four companies in Bulgaria, the cabinet’s press service announced on Friday. The government decision was adopted in absentia.

Earlier Friday, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov convened an extraordinary meeting of the Security Council with the Council of Ministers over the appointment of a special commercial administrator at Lukoil Neftochim Burgas. The meeting heard reports from the relevant ministers, after which the proposal to the Council of Ministers for the appointment of a special manager for the companies was announced.
