The Bulgarian Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia and Consulate General in Bitola received honorary plaques from the Union of Bulgarian War Veterans. The plaques were presented to the Bulgarian Ambassador in Skopje, Zhelyazko Radukov, and to the Consul General in Bitola, Nikolay Dimitrov.

“On behalf of the Union of Bulgarian War Veterans, I would like to express our gratitude for the consistent efforts of the diplomatic service in the Republic of North Macedonia to preserve the memorial sites related to our military history,” said the accompanying letter signed by Colonel (ret.) Anani Hristov, Chairman of the Union of Bulgarian War Veterans.

Representatives of the Veterans' Union participated in the commemoration of the 112th anniversary of the death of Major General Konstantin Kavarnaliev at the monument to the Bulgarian officer near Dojran, North Macedonia.
