GERB and There Is Such a People (TISP) have raised the issue of introducing a chairmanship of the National Assembly on a rotational basis, GERB said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

“In the name of shared governance between the three formations of the coalition, GERB and TISP proposed a system of rotation for the post of National Assembly Chair,” the statement reads. The topic was discussed during a meeting of the Joint Governance Council.

According to GERB, coalition partners have also begun talks on the 2026 State Budget. Discussions on both matters will continue in the coming days, the party said, adding that parliamentary work will resume on Wednesday.
