Bulgaria is not only a country with a thousand-year history and rich culture, but also a hub for innovation, said National Assembly Deputy Chair and Bulgaria-Japan Friendship Group Chair Raya Nazaryan at the Bulgarian pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka, quoted in a statement by the Parliament's press center on Tuesday.
A Bulgarian parliamentary delegation led by GERB-UDF Deputy Floor Leader Nazaryan is visiting Japan. Bulgaria is becoming increasingly recognized not only in Japan but also around the world as a leader in high technology and artificial intelligence, said Nazaryan. "Bulgaria's participation in EXPO 2025 presents an exciting story about the history and culture of our ancient country, but also a story about Bulgaria's innovations and vision for the future," she pointed out.
She addressed representatives of the Bulgarian community who have settled permanently in Japan and emphasized that their talent and successful achievements are invaluable assets for Bulgaria.
Nazaryan visited the Osaka Pavilion and the Japan National Pavilion. She congratulated the organizers of EXPO 2025 and emphasized that the World Expo is an event that inspires millions of people with avant-garde ideas and initiatives that shape the future. She wrote messages in the guest books at the Italian, Osaka, and Japan National Pavilions. The delegation also visited the pavilions of Singapore and Saudi Arabia, the host country of Expo 2030.
