A Bulgarian investor operating in the Sofia–Bozhurishte Industrial Park since 2017 has signed a contract for a second project with the National Company Industrial Zones, the Economy Ministry said on Friday. The news came during a meeting between Deputy Economy Minister Nevena Lazarova and Rosen Rusev, company owner of Neona Ltd.
The investment will expand the current production of CNC laser cutting machines through the construction of a new building with production and storage facilities on an additional plot of 2,651 square metrеs. The project also includes the launch of a new line for laser galvanometric machines.
“The expansion of Neona Ltd. is yet another proof that the Sofia-Bozhurishte Industrial Park is consolidating its position as a preferred location for Bulgarian and international high-tech companies,” said Deputy Minister Lazarova.
She added that the National Company Industrial Zones is working on investment projects nationwide worth more than BGN 80 million. “Such investments not only create jobs but also add value through innovation and high-tech manufacturing,” Lazarova stressed. In an interview with BTA at the end of June, Deputy Minister Lazarova noted that the state-owned company reported a profit of BGN 646,000 in 2024, with plans to surpass that figure in 2025.
