Bulgaria claimed a silver medal in the women’s 25m pistol team event at the European Shooting Championship in Châteauroux, France.

The Bulgarian team—Antoaneta Kostadinova, Miroslava Mincheva, and Lidia Nencheva—became European vice-champions after scoring a combined total of 1744 points, finishing just four points behind the host nation France, which took the gold.

Individually, Kostadinova and Mincheva also qualified for the final in the 25m small-caliber pistol discipline. Kostadinova ranked fifth with 584 points, while Mincheva delivered an impressive performance in the rapid-fire round with 299 points, securing the eighth and final spot with a total of 582 points. Nencheva finished 18th with 578 points.

The individual final is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. (local time).
