Seven Athletes Earn Quotas to Represent Bulgaria at Badminton World Championships in Paris

Seven Bulgarian athletes have quotas for the World Badminton Championships, which will be held in Paris, France on August 25-30, the national team head coach Petya Nedelcheva told the Bulgarian News Agency on Thursday.

Kaloyana Nalbantova and Stefani Stoeva have qualified for the women's singles, Stefani Stoeva/Gabriela Stoeva and Mihaela Chepisheva/Tsvetina Popivanova for the women's doubles and Ivan Rusev/Iliyan Stoynov for the men's doubles.

Dimitar Yanakiev can still receive a quota for the men's singles, while the mixed team Gabriela Stoeva/Evgeni Panev can also secure their participation in the championship.
