Albert Popov finished 12th in THE Nightrace men’s slalom in Schladming, which is a FIS Alpine Ski World Cup event. The 26-year-old Bulgarian clocked 1:47.09 minutes in the two runs (52.81 and 54.28), trailing winner Linus Strasser of Germany by 1.89 seconds.
Popov ranked 23rd after the first part of the race.
The next World Cup race will be a Super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on January 27.
