Two Bulgarian children in traditional costumes represented the country with Bulgarian folk songs and a dance in Ankara on Saturday, the second day of the World Cultures Festival. The forum boasts participants from more than 50 countries this year.

The programme of the Festival includes traditional dances, recitals and concerts, fashion shows, art workshops, gastronomy workshops, culinary experiences, competitions and raffles.

The opening ceremony, which featured 55 embassies and the Yunus Emre Institute, took place at the CerModern Culture Centre on Friday.

Turkish Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Gokhan Yazgi, who attended the opening, said that festivals are not only platforms that bring together the richness of different cultures but also symbolize friendship and cooperation.
