Bulgarian soprano Sonya Yoncheva performed in a concert of the Baden-Baden Philharmonic under the baton of Nayden Todorov, who is serving as caretaker Culture Minister, the philharmonic orchestra said on Twitter.

Yoncheva took the stage with Italian tenor Giovanni Sala. The gala featured works of the late Italian romanticism.

The philharmonic orchestra, conducted by Nayden Todorov, performed fine-tuned intermezzos from popular operas from the period of verism.
