site.btaVice President Iotova Bestows Badge of Honour on BTA
Work and professionalism - this is the emblem of our colleagues from the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA), Vice President Iliana Iotova said on Thursday at the concert on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of BTA in Sofia’s Bulgaria Hall.
According to Iotova, BTA has preserved truth and credibility in an age when sensations are in greater demand than truthful facts.
She presented BTA Director General Kiril Valchev with the Badge of Honour of the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria in recognition of BTA's outstanding contribution to the development of Bulgarian journalism, to the defense of truth and freedom of speech.
