Bulgarian Petar Gergyovski won the parallel giant slalom event at the Alpine Snowboard European Cup in Folgaria, Italy.

In the final, the Bulgarian national team athlete defeated Italy’s Mike Santuari. Bulgaria’s strong performance was further highlighted by a fourth-place finish for Alexander Krashniak and fifth place for Kristian Georgiev. The Bulgarian competitors in Folgaria also included Aleksandar Georgov and Stoyan Pepelanov. A day earlier, Krashniak finished second in Folgaria.

On Saturday, Bulgaria will be represented at the Parallel Giant Slalom World Cup event in Scuol, Switzerland, by Radoslav Yankov, Malena Zamfirova, Tervel Zamfirov, Petar Gergyovski, Alexander Krashniak, and Kristian Georgiev.
