The Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad (EABA) has officially launched voting for the Favourite Bulgarian Woman of the Audience Award, part of the annual Bulgarian Woman of the Year – Saint Zlata of Meglen competition, the EABA said on Tuesday.

Voting will be open from September 1 to 25, 2025 at this link: https://strawpoll.com/LVyK2L4VkZ0. "Follow the link and cast your vote for one of the 20 leaders of today's Bulgarian diaspora nominated by various organizations and initiative committees. Choose your own Favorite Bulgarian Woman of the Audience," the EABA emphasized.

The EABA also indicated that the winner of the Saint Zlata of Meglen award in 2025 will be selected by a jury and announced during a special ceremony to be held in Sofia on October 15. The name of the winner of the online vote will also be announced there as well.

For the annual Bulgarian Woman of the Year – Saint Zlata of Meglen Award twenty nominations have been received from 11 countries in 2025. BTA will present the nominees in a series of articles.
