A traditional Megdanska Charshiya (folk marketplace) was set up in the courtyard of the Palais des Sports in Lyon, France, as part of the 10th edition of the festival “Expats Join Hands in Worldwide Dance” (Une ronde autour du monde), which took place from June 6 to 8.

Festival participants and guests had the opportunity to browse and purchase traditional Bulgarian costumes, local dishes, various ceramic and leather crafts, clothing embroidered with Bulgarian folk motifs, as well as jewellery featuring folklore-inspired elements.

Within the Megdanska Charshiya, a variety of traditional crafts were also showcased, including woodcarving, natural leatherwork, and embroidery.
