Consul General of Bulgaria in Odessa Svetoslav Ivanov said that the opening of a BTA Press Club in the Ukrainian city is a festive day for its citizens. "Our city will be represented in the best way among the Bulgarian community here," he said.
Ivanov read a congratulatory address from Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel, in which she sends her greetings to the organizers of "this first checkpoint, which contributes to spreading information about Ukraine in Bulgaria." She expressed her gratitude to them for being a strong foundation for the historical friendship between the two countries.
"We live in difficult times that require courageous decisions. This is an example that Bulgaria supports Ukraine, an example that is good for bilateral relations," Ivanov noted.
