site.btaBDZ Gets BGN 40 Mln Extra Funding for Winter Operations

The cabinet approved additional expenditures under the budget of the Ministry of Transport and Communications in the amount of BGN 40 million for BDZ Passenger Transport, the passenger division of the national rail operator, the government press service said here Monday.

The funds constitute repayable financial assistance and are to be reimbursed by the company by September 30, 2026.

The financing will allow BDZ Passenger Transport EOOD to continue operating normally until the end of the year and to ensure the provision of public services during the upcoming winter months.
