site.btaNikola Tsolov to Race in Formula 2 Championship Next Season

The official website of the FIA Formula 2 Championship created a section with Bulgarian Nikola Tsolov’s name for 2026, which means that he will race in the F2 competition next season. It is still unclear which team Tsolov will compete for.
The 18-year-old Bulgarian will race at Monza this weekend in the final round of Formula 3. He is third in the overall standings after two wins and a total of five podium finishes in the campaign, and is still competing for second place, trailing Spain's Mari Boya by just two points ahead of the final two races in Italy at the weekend. Brazilian Rafael Camara has already secured the Championship trophy.
Tsolov won the F4 Spanish Championship title in 2022 as part of the Campos Racing team, which is sponsored by the Alpine Academy and two-time Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion winner, Fernando Alonso (Spain). In 2023, Tsolov began competing in Formula 3 for the ART Grand Prix team, finishing 11th in the overall standings in his second season.
In spring 2025, he was recruited by the Red Bull Junior Team and Campos Racing. His performance has been impressive, as he was one of the contenders for the first place this year.
