site.btaCompetition Watchdog to Present New Protocols for Handling Trade Secrets

The Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) will present the measures it has taken and the internal procedures introduced for handling confidential information considered a production or trade secret, CPC’s press service said here on Friday.
Measures include the creation of secure, access-controlled rooms designated solely for the handling of sensitive information by market participants. These steps are part of sector-specific analyses initiated by the Commission.
The objective is to ensure robust protection of confidential data and strengthen the confidence of businesses and other stakeholders in the activities of the antitrust regulator, CPC noted.
