Kraimorie Port is among the Bulgarian sites that have received the Blue Flag Award in 2025. The award is given by the Denmark-based Foundation for Environmental Education, with over 50 countries participating in the programme. In order to qualify for the Blue Flag, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility criteria must be met and maintained.

The port is located in the Kraimorie neighbourhood of the city of Burgas and has over 50 boat moorings. It has a camper area, charging stations for electric vehicles, an open stage, an outdoor training area, and a fish processing area. Over the summer months, the site is visited both by locals and by tourists. "We come almost every week in the summer. We get together with friends, and the kids can ride bikes or play around," Georgi Marinov, a local resident, told BTA.

Asen Dimitrov, whose fishing boat is based at the port, said that the good maintenance and convenient infrastructure make his work easier. "The fish processing area saves us time and allows us to store the catch immediately," he pointed out. Some of the visitors use the charging stations for electric vehicles, others park campers. "On weekends, we often spend the night here with the caravan. There are amenities, it's not noisy, and it's close to Burgas," said Aleksandar Iliev, who is travelling with his family.

Kraimorie Port was opened in 2022 with funds by the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Programme of the EU.
