site.btaEC Commissioner Zaharieva to Launch Innovative Project for Circular Solutions in Construction

European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation Ekaterina Zaharieva will visit Bulgaria, the European Commission said on Friday.

On May 3 at 11 am, Commissioner Zaharieva will participate in the official opening of a pilot mobile plant for the production of recycled building materials near Kremikovtzi. The project is funded by EUR 9.5 million in EU funds under the Horizon Europe programme and is being implemented in partnership with Bulgarian and foreign universities and research institutes. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation and Growth Tomislav Donchev and Minister of Environment and Water Manol Genov will also participate in the inauguration of the installation, the release said.
