The unemployment rate remained stable in February compared to January 2024, staying at 6% in the EU and at 4.4% in Bulgaria, show Eurostat data published on Wednesday. Year on year, the unemployment rate remained unchanged in the Union and increased slightly in Bulgaria, where it stood at 4.1% in February 2023.

In February 2024, there were 134,000 unemployed in Bulgaria, compared to 133,000 in January 2024 and 127,000 in February 2023.
